Red enamel sign with yellow border with old lamp design and advertising slogan, FOR WASHING CLOTHES HUDSONS SOAP FOR WASHING UP. The border is maker marked H.011.2/30. A few small chips to the enamel mainly around the screw holes. Size 38cm X 23cm. Circa 1920's. Really nice condition.  read more

SILVER SNUFF BOX BY NATHANIEL MILLS.

Highley decorative borders with with inscription to the exterior side of the lid and it is inscribed, PRESENTED TO WILLIAM KNOTT ESQ CHAIRMAN OF THE GENERAL PURPOSE COMMITTEE 1851 with large coat of arms. The interior of the lid has a second and considerably longer eleven line inscription and it all also has silver hallmarks for Nathaniel Mills Birmingham 1850. Near mint.  read more
