A very nice early Moorcroft taza with pewter planished affect stand. The ceramic plate is the pomegranate design, the underside has full Moorcroft signature and it is stamped Made in England. The pewter planished stand is marked on the base, Tudric Moorcroft 0.1313 Made in England and was produced for Libertys London. Excellent condition.  read more

AUSTRIAN 1930's COLD PAINTED WHITE METAL FIGURE OF THE FENCER BY JOSEF LORENZL.

Fine quality hand painted figure of the fencer by Josef Lorenzl, the figure is unsigned as this model always is but it is attributed to Lorenzl. The detail to the figure is exceptional and it is fitted to a white marble base. Joseph Lorenzl was born in Austria in 1892, he worked as a metal work artist in the Vienna and died in 1950. COMPLETE COLLECTION OF FOUR DOULTON WW1 COMEMORATIVE JUGS.

The jugs are produced in a blue and brown glaze and they depict the Allied leaders, Fieldmarshall Haig, Admiral Beatty, General Fosch and President Wilson. Each jugs features a detailed medallion of the war leaders with his title. Size approcamatly 7 inches or 18cm. Each jug is marked on the base with Doulton factory marks. Circa 1920. Clear glass bottle which is embossed on base 254. The bottle is contained in original ornate silver holder decorated in floral patterns. Silver hallmarks for Chester 1898. Reliance patent codd bottles are fairly common but this example from Northampton is extremely rare with possibly only two examples recorded. Foster and Lewis Northampton with star trademark. The reverse side is marked, Reliance Patent sole maker Dan Rylands Barnsley. 10oz size. Some scratches and scuffs from wear but no damage.  read more

MARTIN BROTHERS POT DECORATED WITH FISH AND SEALIFE CREATURES.

A vey nice pot decorated with four large grotesque fish, a strange looking crab, sea snail and seaweed decoration and produced a an attractive brown and white glaze. The base is is signed, Martin Bro London Southall and dated 3.11.98.There are a couple of in manufacture firing cracks which is very typical for Martinware but the pot is in mint condition.
