DOULTON PIN DISH FOR 1923 WEMBLEY EXHIBITION.

Square blue glazed stoneware pin dish, the outer border decorated with four stylised lions which was the official design for the 1923 Wembley Exhibition. Doulton factory stamp and artists marks to the reverse side. Size almost 4 inches square. A very unusual item.

SUPERB SET OF THREE SILVER, ENAMEL AND GLASS PERFUME BOTTLES IN MATCHING HOLDER.

Three matching glass scent bottles with silver and purple enamel mounts with matching cut glass stoppers. The bottles are contained in there original silver and purple enamel decorative container. Silver mark to the base 935 for the silver content. Circa 1910 and almost certainly continental. It is unusual to see items produced in purple enamel, as this was the main colour for the woman's suffragette movement. Height just over 3 inches or 8cm. A very beautiful set of remarkable quality. Near mint.
