DECORATIVE VICTORIAN SILVER PALE WITH BLUE GASS LINER.

A very attractive silver pale with hinged handle and decorated in floral fretwork. The front of the pale features family coat of arms and the base is engraved, H.W.N.FAME from M.E.R FAME 1897. Silver marks for London 1895 and with makers initials GMJ. Complete with blue glass liner. Mint condition.

DOULTON LAMBETH ADVERTISING VASE.

This very attractive blue vase would have probably been displayed in a shop selling Doulton ceramics or possible even the Doulton factory itself. The vase measures approcamatly 6 inches or 15cm in height and is produced in a most attractive mottled blue glaze and features a very large version of the Doulton factory stamp as the central design including the lion and crown. The base features the Doulton factory stamp, model number and artists initials CA. Circa 1910. Mint condition.

MARTIN BROTHERS POT DECORATED WITH FISH AND SEALIFE CREATURES.

A vey nice pot decorated with four large grotesque fish, a strange looking crab, sea snail and seaweed decoration and produced a an attractive brown and white glaze. The base is is signed, Martin Bro London Southall and dated 3.11.98.There are a couple of in manufacture firing cracks which is very typical for Martinware but the pot is in mint condition. Victiorian art pottery at its best. Hight 9cm.

MARTIN BROTHERS VICTORIAN POT DECORATED WITH GROTESQUE FISH.

A most unusual and attractive four sided pot / vase which sits on four feet which are part of the pot design.The pot is glazed in a pale green glaze with brown lip, each side of the pot features a large grotesque fish which are slightly raised out of the surface so they have a slightly 3D appearance, the glaze is formed to appear as the movement of water, a very clever technique which the Martin Brothers are known for. The base of the pot is fully signed Martin Bros London & Southall and dated 11.1900.The pot has four tiny glaze frits to the top lip of the pot, but these are very insignificant and hardly worth mensioning. Height approximately 12cm or 5 inches. A fine attractive and unique pot .
