ENGLISH SILVER NOVALTY BOX FOR PLAYING CARDS.

This superb novelty is designed as a small card table, the lid is engraved with line decoration to the outer border with original owners initials to the centre, the top of the table opens on a hinge to reveal a compartment for holding a full size box of playing cards. The table is fitted with four ornate legs with ornate stretchers. Silver marks for London 1912 and with makers and retailers details, Goldsmiths and Silversmiths company, 112 Regent street w. VICTORIAN SILVER PERFUME BOTTLE DECORATED WITH BIRDS.

This superb English silver scent bottle is from aesthetic movement period and is decorate on the main body of the bottle with three storks in foliage, one of them is holding a fish in its beak. The lid is hinged and it is decorated with a fourth stork. Silver marks for London 1879 and with makers initials RC. Height just under 3 inches or 7cm. The interior is complete with the original glass stopper. The quality of the engraving is exceptional and it is in superb condition.

ENGLISH MANUFACTURED STONWARE HAMILTON BOTTLE, CIRCA 1830.

A superb dark brown glazed stoneware Hamilton bottled for mineral water and which is impressed BSWM EX. The bottle was used by the Bombay Soda Water Manufacturer, the EX mark was for the English exercise duty and this mark was used from 1812 until 1834 and confirms that the bottle was made in England. The BSWM company supplied mineral water to the British who were stationed in India during the British empire. Height approximately 7 inches or 18cm. Near Mint condition.
