PAIR OF SILVER FRUIT SCISSORS.

Very attractive silver scissors the handles decorated with grapes and vines, the blades are steel. These are ideal for fruit but they are also perfect for paper, string and other uses. Silver import marks for London 1929 and by Adolf Barsach Davis. A very nice set.

Superb example in mint condition and which has never been used. Rounded rectangular form decorated with foliage and scroll decoration. The jugs are produced in a blue and brown glaze and they depict the Allied leaders, Fieldmarshall Haig, Admiral Beatty, General Fosch and President Wilson. Each jugs features a detailed medallion of the war leaders with his title. Size approcamatly 7 inches or 18cm. Each jug is marked on the base with Doulton factory marks. Circa 1920. Mint condition.

EDWARDIAN SODA SYPHON WITH UNUSUAL DOUBLE ADVERTISMENT FROM KENT & SURRY.

An unusual syphon, the original company's advertisement was etched over and the opposite side a new advertisement was added. The original advertisement can still be read although very difficult to photograph, SHEPPY MINERAL WATER CO SHERNESS, with company initials to the centre, the reverse side is etched, TAYLOR & CO STAINES ESTD 1849.The syphon is also etched, British syphon co Ltd London, The metal cap is marked, Baggs Bros Ltd Portsmouth. The Syphon also has its original Taylors paper label. Near mint.

MINIATURE VICTORIAN GLASS CODD BOTTLE.

This miniature codd bottle stands at only 7cm in hight or less than 3 inches. It is produced in clear glass with a cross pinch just like the full size codd bottle but they were produced with out a marble. Although it looks like a mineral water bottle it actually contained medicine and they were retailed by company by the name of Bowens and contained there Nirvana medicine, the company was based Barnstaple in North Devon. If you collect miniature bottles, medicine bottles or codd bottle this would be a great addition to a collection. Mint.

It is very rare to find a gold sovereign and Vesta case combination, normally these large cases are for a pair of sovereigns. The case is stamped 9 375 for 9ct gold and it is also hallmarked for Birmingham 1905 and with makers initials. A very rare combination case. Superb condition.
