This is a really beautiful mottled brown glazed example featuring the face of the bearded man on the shoulder and large coat of arms on the belly of the bellermine. The jug dates to about circa 1685. Height just under 9 inches. No cracks or repairs, the jug shows light age wear as you would expect after more than 300 years.  read more
