BRITISH ART AND CRAFTS TRAY OR WALL PLAQUE.

This superb hand made copper tray is probably by the Cornish Newlyn arts and crafts school but it is not maker marked, the original art school was in operation from 1890 until about 1920. The tray depicts a large galleon in full sail on the ocean, on a hand hammered background. Superb quality and very impressive.  read more

LIDDED HUMAN VEGETABLE CERAMIC MUG WITH LID.

A most unusual ceramic mug produced in the late Victorian period in Germany. The mug is designed as a root vegetable with a highly detailed human face. The lid is produced in metal and ceramic with leaf decoration to the top, one small chip to one of the leaf's but other than that it is very nice. The base has manufactures mark.
