VICTORIAN BLUE TOP CODD BOTTLE.

This is a 10oz aqua codd bottle with cobalt blue lip. The bottle is embossed, J ECKERSLEY MINERAL WATERS BOLTON, the reverse side of the bottle is embossed, CODDS BOTTLE 4 MAKER DAN RYLAND BARNSLEY, These coloured top codd bottles we produced in the late Victorian period to make the bottle stand out against other local mineral water company's and also to maker them easier to identify for returned bottles. This bottle has probably been cleaned in the past but to a very high standard and all the embossing can easily be seen.
