CONNORS PATENT CODD BOTTLE.

Large 10oz example of this scarce Victorian aqua glass mineral water bottle that features a large circular bulb in the neck and retains a pear shape stopper. The bottle is embossed on the obverse side, SPENCER CONNOR & CO MANCHESTER, the reverse side is embossed, CONNERS PATENT STOPPER and also Redfern brothers glass makers details. The rare pear shape stopper is in perfect condition. The base of the bottle is embossed RBB which are the bottle makers initials. Most codd bottles are fitted with circular ball stoppers, those having pear shape or slug stoppers are rare. Looks almost to be cellar found, mint.
