VICTORIAN SILVER NOVELTY QUILL PEN.

A superb and very large silver hallmarked quill pen, this is an amazing item and the first I have ever seen. Highley detailed long birds feather with stem which terminates in a pen nib. The quill pen measures approcamatly 12 inches or 30cm long. Silver marks for London 1845 and with makers mark WJ, there is also presentation inscription that reads, To W.C.Geistley . This quill pen would look suburb displayed with a collection of teakettle inks or silver inkwells. Near Mint.
