SILVER EDWARDIAN MODEL OF THE NESTOR CUP.
A superb silver cup designed as a model of the ancient Nestor cup which was discovered in a grave at Mycenae near Athens in Greece in 1876. The cup stands at 14cm in height. The decorative handles are decorated with two birds. Silver hallmarks for Chester 1906 and with makers initials GN & RH for George Nathan & Ridley Hayes. Fine condition.
