ENGLISH MANUFACTURED STONWARE HAMILTON BOTTLE, CIRCA 1830.

A superb dark brown glazed stoneware Hamilton bottled for mineral water and which is impressed BSWM EX. The bottle was used by the Bombay Soda Water Manufacturer, the EX mark was for the English exercise duty and this mark was used from 1812 until 1834 and confirms that the bottle was made in England. The BSWM company supplied mineral water to the British who were stationed in India during the British empire. Height approximately 7 inches or 18cm. Near Mint condition.
