MINIATURE VICTORIAN NOVELTY SILVER BOATING OAR IN PRESENTATION CASE.

A most unusual silver hallmarked rowing oar which was obviously produced as a presentation award / gift for a Victorian boating competition. Silver hallmarks for London 1853 with makers initials. Complete with fine quality brown leatherette presentation case, the interior is constructed in blue velvet and it is fitted for the oar. A most unusual item and especially nice with it's original box.
