A superb example of a Martin Brother stoneware double face jug, each side of the jug features a rather sinister and grotesque smiling face, the modeling to these faces is exceptional. Base has full Martin Brothers factory details. Circa 1910.Provenance, this jug was sold some years ago by Bonham's London and comes complete with a copy of the auction entry from the catalog.
